Northwest Heavy Haul utilized a 4 axel heavy haul tractor, 2 axel jeep, 3 axel trailer, and 2 axel booster to haul multiple 135,000lb Gas Compressor units to a mountain top location near Trinidad, CO. The 15ft wide 15ft 6in loaded height tall Compressors originated in New Iberia, LA and were hauled 1,017 miles to the Rocky Mountains near Trinidad, CO. The steep grades of the mountain top location roads and the 210,000lb total gross weight of the load required the aid of a dozer to gain the power needed to ascend the steep roads to the unload location. Northwest's engineering department worked to ensure the lease roads leading to location were up to spec to ensure the load was delivered safely.
