Northwest Logistics Heavy Haul simultaneously transported two Natural Gas Compressors from Wyoming to North Dakota. The Compressors weighing a total of 134,000 lbs each, were 23ft wide by 19ft tall loaded on each of Northwest’s trailers. Northwest Logistics Heavy Haul utilized two Perimeter Frame Trailers with Steerable Dollies to transport the Compressors the total permitted 617 miles. The total loaded length of each unit was 149ft long, with a total gross weight of 258,000 lbs. In order to safely navigate the winding mountainous roads, and due to the massive dimensions of each load, each truck-trailer had four escort cars to make sure everyone stayed on route.
